Rory Sutherland, Vice-Chairman Ogilvy UK, is a symbol of advertising in the UK.
Rory was Executive Creative Director for over 20 years, now involved in Behavioural Change; he is a Ted Talk Superstar, columnist and writer.
His most recent book “Alchemy – the surprising power of ideas that don’t make sense” was launched in Romania at the IAA Global Conference in October 2019.
People that know Rory describe him as being eccentric, ingenious, fascinating. And for sure he is one of the most influential advertising professionals in the world, creative and visionary.
Rory will be live with marketing and communication executives from Romania and the global community. His speech will be followed by 15 minutes of live Q&A.
The title of his speech is a challenge: “Where the ad industry got it wrong. The story of a 30-year-old missed opportunity.”
The session main objectives are to connect Marcomm professionals, to create a collaborative context for networking and exchange of ideas, to stimulate interactivity between the webinar participants and the speaker.
After the live session with Rory, we shall break out in smaller groups, to debate the ideas presented by Rory and hopefully find solutions to be be more relevant once these unsettling times are over.
