Descriere
Loredana Padurean is Professor of Management Associate Dean and Faculty Director of Action Learning at Asia School of Business (ASB) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the collaboration Between MIT Sloan School of Management and Central Bank of Malaysia. She is also an International Faculty Fellow at MIT.
Her most recent research focuses on understanding how entrepreneurship evolves by analysing companies from all over the world.
To quote Professor Padurean:
“For the past two months during Covid19, I have been in discussions with various industry executives to reflect together on what it would take to survive and come out of this crisis that is affecting every single thread of the fabric of our society and all these discussions converge to an interesting common point: entrepreneurialism, going back to the energy, attitude, strategies that made entrepreneurs become successful today but somehow during their evolution, were left behind.
In my research I am looking at how companies evolve from early stage, young start-ups to becoming large, mature and sophisticated entities, a field I call “Entrepreneurial Evolution” that is defined by 3 stages: nailing it, scaling it, sailing it, each defined by very specific attributes, leadership and type of innovation.
During this webinar, we will discuss what and how companies need to innovate during these critical times and I shall provide some tools for business innovation in and out of this crisis.”
The talk will be followed by a 15 minutes live Q & A, and further on the participants will debate on the ideas presented by Professor Pădurean.
