Jacob Benbunan is the co-founder and global CEO of Saffron Brand Consultants.
After 6 years with the Strategy Services Unit of KPMG, Jacob joins Wolff Olins in London in 1991 as Senior Strategist where he grows to become a Principal leading programmes in Telecoms, Financial Services and Energy. He is promoted to Main Board Member in 1994.
Wolff Olins is sold to Omnicom in 2000 and Jacob and Wally Olins decide to continue working together founding Saffron early in 2001.
Starting with two offices, in London and Madrid, today Saffron has also offices in Vienna, Istanbul and Bombay.
Jacob has participated and led programmes for Vueling, Bankinter, BBVA, Cepsa, Sabadell or Openbank in Spain, Swiss Re, Akzo Nobel, Flying Tiger, T-Mobile, Engie, Sodexo, the V&A in Europe, Poland, Turkey or the cities of London and Vienna , Apollo, Persistent, L&T Infotech or Tata in India, Doha Film Institute, Youtube, Facebook, Collinear or White & Case in the US, Kyocera or Fujitsu in Japan.
Today Jacob is a well-known professional within the international scene of the branding industry. He is author of many specialised articles and lectures and is regularly invited to various conferences and TV and radio shows. He is a member of the Advisory Committee of the IE School of Design and Architecture and teaches periodically.
The book Disruptive Branding co-authored by him was published in the spring of 2019.
